about

Inspired by an article on page 12 of the Herald on the 27th of October 2010. We took the monkey on a spiritual journey through a funky storm. It was emotional!

lyrics

Living in your self infliction,
An unfortunate circumstance,
If god made you this way,
Then he's got some explaining to do,
Confined to just a space where you soak up all the rain,
Drown in all your misery,
Come on and drown in all your misery

Mey nwoah,
Mey nwoah,
No one knows,
Just who you are,
Mey nwoah,
Mey nwoah,
Covered close,
So you can shield your scars,

It's hard to breath,
The rain pours down and fills me to the brim,
Taking shelter,
A self embrace to hide from everything,
A gust of wind,
Crashes down and tears apart the fabric,
As the leaves go sweeping by,

Mey nwoah,
Mey nwoah,
No one knows,
Just who you are,
Mey nwoah,
Mey nwoah,
Covered close,
So you can shield your scars,

The light seeps through,
Holes in the clouds,
Lets you know,
You'll be OK,
The river flow,
Calms down again,
Lets you know,
You'll be OK,

Mey nwoah,
Mey nwoah,
No one knows,
Just who you are,
Mey nwoah,
Mey nwoah,
Covered close,
So you can shield your scars,
